The Theme
Popular iTunes Downloads. Seriously. What in the hell kind of theme is this? And why are none of these in the charts right now?

Megan Joy was no match for the status quoi and even though she chose some bizarre songs for her repetoire (what a strange EP she'll get from iTunes. I wonder if they'll be popular so the next cycle can cover them!) Her reprise of her song on night #2 was actually pretty sexy, but night #1 was admittedly pretty phoned-in.

Should've Gone Home:
Scott. He just does not have the stage presence, and I don't like that I'm meant to overlook his blandness just because of his blindness. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder had no problem rocking the house. He's just dull. I still have yet to pinpoint Gokey's appeal, and Matt Giraud is leaving me cold, but Scott just hasn't been very good yet in the competition. I just don't like him the way he are. Uh, is.

How Was Everyone Else?
Anoop isn't really drawing me in at all. I find him overdone. Speaking of, Lil Rounds is not Celine Dion. She tore the hell through "I Surrender" like a champ, but by the end of it you kind of want to say, "Girl, it is not that serious." Adam's pick was a bit overblown, which is his style (we'll see still if that's a good thing) and I wasn't totally feeling it; his end notes were all over the place. The main shock of the night was Kris Allen's "Ain't No Sunshine" which was excellent and very sexy. I don't see him in for the long run, but with performances like that, he is making a strong case. "Don't Speak" was predictable and boring, which is disappointing to say about Allison since she's a firecracker most of the time. I think she needs a more subtle ballad.
